Easy Banana Bread



This banana bread is so easy to make and the perfect way to stop wasting bananas!






 




Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour


Ingredients

Instructions

  • 3-4 very ripe bananas

Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • 1 stick butter (at room temperature)

Step 2 In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar using a hand mixer.

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

Step 3   Mash bananas with a fork until it looks like chunky applesauce. Whisk together the eggs in a separate bowl.

  • 2 large eggs

Step 4  Add mashed bananas and whisked eggs to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix to combine ingredients using the hand mixer.

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour

Step 5   Add flour, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract to the bowl and combine ingredients.

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Step 6   Butter a loaf pan then pour in mixture.

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Step 7   Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when stuck in the top middle.

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 8   Let banana bread rest for a few minutes before serving.
