This enchilada sauce is my version of an authentic family recipe I found online. Very good!

Ingredients | Instructions |

| Step 1 In a medium pot, add the guajillo, ancho, and árbol chiles and enough water to cover them completely. Bring to a boil over high heat. Remove the pot from the heat, cover, and let the chiles soak for 10 minutes to soften. |
| Step 2 Transfer pot of chilies and water to a blender. Add three tomatoes and blend. |
| Step 3 Strain the mixture then add smooth liquid back into blender along with garlic cloves, 1 tomato, salt, and lime juice. |
| Step 4 Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sauce and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. |
| Step 5 Your sauce is done! Use it for enchiladas and enjoy! |
