This recipe created some delicious cookies... but I needed to work a little magic with the cookie dough first!


Tip 1: Anticipate that you will need more flour.


I added extra flour to the mix so I could get it out of the mixing bowl plus MORE while trying to roll it to cut out the cookies. My dough practically dissolved all the flour I gave it, so just know... you'll probably need more.


Tip 2: Add some extra flour when rolling so it's easier to grab the cookies without changing their shape.


These cookies have a floury-feel to them when they come from the store too! Its okay to add a little more flour to make it easier to transport them to a cookie sheet.


Tip 3: Use a circular motion when icing.


You can see me doing this in the video above! It makes the icing look more uniform.
